The software encompasses record keeping, calculations, work flow, document imaging, web self service, report and letter production, pensioner payroll, benefits modelling and links with Microsoft office indeed everything needed to administer any basis of pension scheme including final salary, money purchase, CARE and hybrid.
Calculation Builder
We have experience of a wide range of calculations - no calculation has ever proved too complex for our systems to handle through our comprehensive Calculation Builder – our system is compliant with all legislation regimes both old and new. Ensuring that calculations are “right every time” is ensured by our easy to use Calculation Testing Module that enables calculations to be tested any number of times with minimum input from the user.
Work Flow
The inbuilt work flow module (known as Penflow) enables users to build new and amend existing processes quickly and easily. The work flow module identifies who should do each task and what choice of steps applies once the task is complete so no task is ever overlooked. Because each work flow task is fully audited and date and time stamped it is easy to monitor that service level agreements are being met. At a simple click of the mouse tasks can be allocated and if necessary re-allocated if an administrator is overloaded or off sick or on holiday etc.
Imaging Module
Use of the in built Imaging Module ensures the significant advantages that arise from having instant access to all relevant documentation when accessing the member’s record. The Imaging module is quick and easy to set up with a comprehensive Indexing system that allows both member and non member related documents to be stored and easily located. Dove tailing the Imaging module with the in built Work Flow module greatly increases the efficiency of the administration process.
Web Self Service
The web self service enables members to view and change data, model their benefits and run “what if” and actual calculations, have instant access to personal benefit statements, fund assessments and values and complete on-line forms for fund switches, new beneficiary details, address changes etc. Links to other sites and scheme documents are also provided.
Reports and Letters
The range of standard reports can be augmented by ad hoc reports which users can easily compile. The software can be integrated automatically to Word, Excel and diary links to Outlook so that letters and other outputs are automatically produced as part of the calculation routines.
